The villages of Venaco

The village Venaco is located in the heart of Corsica halfway between Bastia and Ajaccio. This central position allows you to easily travel throughout Corsica and discover all the treasures of the Isle of Beauty. Venaco is just 10 minutes from Corte, 40 minutes from the first beaches and 5 minutes from a river. The village of Venaco is known for its cheeses and its charcuterie which you will find on the Corsican market gardeners' stalls. This little corner of paradise is quiet and offers many activities to do in the great outdoors. In July and August, you can also go to the municipal swimming pool of Venaco, located 200 meters from the Hotel U Frascone. The city of Corte

Corte is a charming town full of history and monuments to discover. We advise you to go to the summit of Corte and visit the citadel dating from the end of the 18th century. At the citadel, you will find the Corsica Museum which hosts numerous art exhibitions, but also concerts, events and conferences. Walk along the ramparts and you will reach the belvedere from where you will obtain a superb 360° view of the entire region. The city is full of natural treasures such as the Restonica Valley, La Scala di Santa Regina, the Vecchio gorges and the Niolu.

The Forest of Vizzavona

Walk in this superb 1,600 hectare forest located in the town of Vivario. At nearly 1,000 meters above sea level, the forest is a true oasis of coolness in the middle of summer. You can go on many walks and hikes, but also tree climbing sessions. Take the famous “Cascade des Anglais” trail, a must-see in the region.

Le canyoning

It is in the Vecchio gorges and in the Verghellu Valley that you can do a canyoning session. You can also walk along the water, swim or go hiking. We advise you to go through the Gustave Eiffel Viaduct, designed in 1880.
